Pressure Transient

Pressure Transient is a highly versatile data logger designed for efficient recording of transient events in the network.

Thanks to advanced cellular telemetry and the innovative “event window selection”, the operator can now send alarm information for transient events and select a window for fast data logging before and after the event, or for time-limited windows.

Transient logging is no longer an exclusive investigation operation, but can now be part of continuous network monitoring for standard flow and pressure logging. Transients are immediately identified so that corrective measures can be taken, avoiding infrastructure bursts and damage.

Application

Pressure Transient transmits data via an integrated modem with GPRS/2G, 4G, LTE-M (Cat-1) and other NBIoT cellular options.

In addition to recording pressure transients, flow and pressure channels can be added to record other network parameters (Enhanced Network Logging) for comprehensive monitoring of transients and the overall network. Sampling can be selected by the operator through a wide range of options up to 100 samples per second.

The complete range of HWM external battery packs can be connected for accelerated power modes and extended periods of maximum sampling rate. These can be easily replaced on-site as needed.
